Information you submit through our website
When you submit an estimate or contact form on our website, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your city
- Project type, the service you need, and your desired timing
- Your message or project details
- The form you used to contact us, and the date and time of submission
Photos are optional. The contact page form lets you attach up to five images (JPG, PNG, or WEBP, each under 8 MB). The shorter form on our homepage does not accept photos.
Our website does not collect payment information. There is no payment field on either form, and we never ask for card or bank details through the site.
Information we receive through Facebook and Instagram lead forms
If you submit a Facebook or Instagram Instant Form (a “Meta lead form”), we receive the information you choose to enter and submit. This may include your name, phone number, email address, and your answers to the project-related questions in that form.
Meta may prefill some fields, such as your name and email, based on your Facebook or Instagram account. You can review and change those details before you submit the form.
A Meta lead form may collect different information than our website form. For example, it may not offer photo uploads, and it may include questions our website does not ask. Please check the fields shown in the form before submitting.
Information collected automatically
We do not ask for technical information, but some is recorded automatically when you visit:
- Website hosting logs. Our site is hosted by Netlify, which records standard request information such as the page requested, the date and time, IP address, browser and device type, and the referring page. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
- Web fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information in order to serve the font files.
Our website does not currently set cookies, does not run analytics or tag management software, and does not use advertising pixels. We do not record advertising or campaign tracking parameters from your visit.
How we use your information
We use information from our website forms and from Meta lead forms to:
- Respond to your service request
- Prepare an estimate
- Follow up about your inquiry
- Schedule and perform the work
- Communicate with you about the job
- Keep appropriate business records, including insurance and tax records
- Operate, maintain, and protect our website
We do not add you to promotional email or text lists, and we do not send marketing campaigns. Submitting a service inquiry is not consent to unrelated promotional messages.
Service providers and information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
We use the following providers, who process information on our behalf as needed to run our business:
- Base44 — stores form submissions, including the details of your request and any photos you attach, in our business database and file storage
- Microsoft 365 — our email service; delivers new inquiry notifications to our inbox and holds our correspondence
- Netlify — hosts our website and keeps standard access logs
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on our website
- Meta — operates Facebook and Instagram and delivers lead form submissions to us (see below)
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, address a legal claim, or protect the safety of our customers, our team, or others.
Meta’s role
Meta operates Facebook and Instagram. Meta handles information on its own platforms under its own privacy policy, which you can read at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
When you submit a Meta lead form for our business, we receive that submission and handle the information we receive under this policy.
We do share limited outcome information back to Meta for advertising measurement: when you submit a lead form, we may report whether that inquiry progressed to a quote, a scheduled job, or completed work. This helps us understand which advertising reaches people who actually need our services. That report contains only a status value tied to the lead Meta already gave us. It does not include the contents of your request, your message, or any photos.
If you have questions about how we handle a lead you submitted through Facebook or Instagram, contact us at admin@texas1stservices.com.
Calls, texts, and emails
We may contact you by phone, text, or email about the service request you submitted — whether through our website or a Meta lead form — and about any resulting work.
Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to our message, telling us on the phone, or emailing admin@texas1stservices.com.
We do not currently use automated calling or automated text messaging systems. Messages you receive from us are sent by our team.
Consent and contact authorization
Our website forms include a notice next to the submit button explaining that submitting the form authorizes Texas 1st Services to contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, with a link to this policy. We do not use preselected consent checkboxes, and we do not ask for consent to unrelated marketing.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or a tag manager. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or audience-building tools, and we do not upload customer lists to advertising platforms.
We do use Meta’s Conversions API, a server-side connection, to report the outcome of advertising leads (for example, whether an inquiry became a quote or a job) as described under “Meta’s role.” This does not place cookies on your device and does not include the contents of your request. You can limit advertising personalization in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Security and access
Information submitted through our forms is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access is limited to our authorized team members and the service providers listed above, who need it to perform their duties.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare an estimate
- Perform the work and communicate about the job
- Maintain business, tax, and insurance records
- Meet legal obligations
- Address claims and disputes
This applies to information from both our website forms and Meta lead forms. Records may exist in more than one place, including our database, our email, and our file storage.
You may ask us to delete your information. We will honor deletion requests subject to records we are required or entitled to keep, such as completed job records and insurance or tax documentation.
Your choices
You can email admin@texas1stservices.com to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Ask us to stop contacting you
We may ask you to verify your identity before providing, correcting, or deleting information, so we do not disclose one person’s information to another.
Children’s information
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
